A busy fall...

It has been way too long since I last posted here and I apologize, but there was just too much going on. But I have some exciting news to share to make up for the lack of news: not one, but several shows are coming up and one of them is actually hanging as I type this.

Besides that, I have been assisting in glass blowing a lot, so I made a lot of progress creating glass pumpkin stems and I have a number of nice glass pumpkins to show for it. I will write about this in a separate post too, but keep this date in mind: First full week in October: Palo Alto Glass Pumpkin Patch. I will have a small, but fine selection of glass pumpkins there. More info is here.

Currently I am showing new paintings and a few prints in the library of the IBM Almaden Research Center. This show is not open to the public but just to IBMers, sorry. But the show will move to the Los Gatos Coffee Roasting Company at the beginning of October. I'm very excited about this show because I believe I made a lot of progress this year. You'll like it, I'm sure! Here are two photos to give you a little taste of that.

Further down the road, I will show with Mahoney Perkins at Cafe Pomegranate in downtown San Jose (November and December). As you can see, I have been busy. I also plan to finally update my web site and *drumroll* I finally got my own domain, so my web site is now also reachable under http://www.dieberger.net/art/ which hopefully is a bit easier to remember.

That's it for now. More to come soon, stay tuned!
